There’s no way to comment on the chapter page, so…. did he/she lost it? Which is why the maid cried so much, but the mc thought it was just period?
Thanks for the chapter!

Okay, so let me explain it. So what happen is you have the crown prince, the husband, then the crown pricess, the wife, at last is the personal maid (kinda like a minion of the crown princess and obey most if not all of her order). The princess success’s is her happiness, and failure is her failure. So at Xing Sheng palace court, the crown prince rushed over to another woman, not the crown princess. The maid saw that as proof the husband doesn’t love the wife (her master), so she felt sad for her master and pity. That is pretty much how it happen with ancient Chinese concubines relationships.

But the thing is: wasn’t she holding a child on her belly? But seems like she lost = maid crying in her/his place

Yeah the maid is crying in her place, technically. The master suffered is like the servants also suffer. Therefore the maid is feeling wronged for her master.
